Putting up the tree has never been easy, but shug wrestled with this oversized monster all weekend with the kids. 3 tree stands later...I was able to put the lights up late Sunday night after the trip. Caroline was a great helper with the lights as I told Maddy to go on the chair and just pray to the holy family for us because the tree was getting the best of me. Kind of funny, 2nd year of the race and 2nd year of shug having to pick up the sight unseen SPC/boyscout tree that same weekend.
Never know what we will get.........
As you can see, the monster is leaning a bit.. will have to fix that when shug gets back. I am not touching it.
